Indian prodigy accurately predicted earthquake in Myanmar
In a video posted on YouTube on March 1, Abhigya Anand—dubbed India’s “prophecy prodigy”—predicted a major earthquake, even though there were no signs of such a disaster at the time.
In the video, Abhigya Anand emphasized that he saw the possibility of a powerful earthquake based on astronomical observations. “Even though no one asked, I still felt the need to inform the community,” Anand stated.
He identified three regions with the highest risk of earthquakes at the end of March: the northwest coast of North America, the southwest coast of South America, and the South Asian region between Bhutan and Myanmar.
The young prophet also warned of another earthquake signal that could emerge between August and October this year.
The coincidence between Abhigya Anand’s prediction and the actual earthquake in Myanmar has sparked heated discussions online, raising questions about the boy’s ability to foresee disasters.
Many of Anand’s followers claim that this is not the first time he has accurately predicted major natural disasters.
However, the scientific validity of his predictions remains controversial.
Currently, the scientific community has no basis to confirm the accuracy of Anand’s astrological-based predictions.
Geologists emphasize that predicting earthquakes is one of the greatest challenges of modern science, and no method can precisely determine the time or location of an earthquake.
Nevertheless, public interest in Anand’s predictions continues to grow, and he is still regarded by many as a unique figure in global prophecy.
Who is Abhigya Anand?
In 2020, Abhigya Anand, a 14-year-old Indian boy, unexpectedly gained media attention as a “prophecy prodigy” after making several predictions about future events that left many astonished.
In August 2019, in a video posted on his personal channel, Anand warned of a “serious global danger” that would occur “from November 2019 to April 2020” based on his astrological studies.
When he first started posting videos, his channel had very few views and comments. Most viewers at the time dismissed his statements as baseless and unrealistic.
However, in November 2019, the COVID-19 outbreak began in Wuhan, China, and rapidly spread to almost every country and territory worldwide. By March 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared it a global pandemic.
Immediately, Anand’s “COVID-19 prophecy” video went viral across social media in India, South America, and many other regions, as the world indeed faced a “serious danger” as he had predicted. At just 14 years old, Anand was hailed as the “youngest prophet in the world.”
Anand continues to post astrology-based predictions on his YouTube channel, which has over 1.1 million subscribers. His videos typically attract thousands to hundreds of thousands of views.
In these videos, Anand makes a series of predictions about world affairs, quickly gaining widespread recognition. Some have even compared him to the blind prophet Baba Vanga.
Some believe that Abhigya Anand accurately predicted the Itaewon crowd crush tragedy in South Korea in October 2022, as well as the 7.3-magnitude earthquake that struck Japan on March 16, 2022.
According to local sources, Anand began reading the four sacred Hindu scriptures of the “Bhagavad Gita” at the age of eight. He also has a passion for mythology, astrology, and wakes up at 4 AM daily to pray.
Additionally, he is reportedly fluent in multiple languages, including English, Sanskrit, Tamil, Sindhi, Hindi, and Kannada.
Anand holds a diploma in Ayurvedic microbiology (a branch of traditional Indian medicine) from an Indian university, making him the youngest person in the country to obtain this qualification.
Today, Abhigya Anand remains active on social media, with his YouTube channel amassing 1.19 million subscribers.
