Jo In-sung – The Sophisticated Gentleman
Jo In-sung was born on July 28, 1981, in Seoul, South Korea. He is a famous model and film actor, best known for his leading roles in the SBS drama Something Happened in Bali (2004), and the films A Dirty Carnival (2006) and A Frozen Flower (2008).
In 2004, he starred in Something Happened in Bali alongside Ha Ji-won and So Ji-sub. His performance earned him the Best Actor award at the Baeksang Arts Awards, along with several accolades at the SBS Drama Awards. In 2005, he collaborated with Go Hyun-jung in the SBS drama Spring Days.
On April 7, 2009, Jo In-sung enlisted in the military. Wishing to follow in his father’s footsteps, he applied to join the Air Force. He completed 25 months of service at the Osan Air Base in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, and was officially discharged on May 4, 2011.
In October 2012, he teamed up with Song Hye-kyo for a new television project marking his return to the screen. The drama, That Winter, The Wind Blows, became a major hit and resonated with audiences for a long time.
